Chapter 7: The Unwanted Reunion

When the past returns, not for love — but for validation.

Everything around Janani’s marriage was peaceful. The home was filled with laughter, wedding plans, and endless blessings.

But one evening changed everything.

Out of nowhere, Rishi appeared.

Janani stood frozen for a moment — her mind went blank.

Why is he here? she wondered silently.

She didn’t speak right away, but later that night, she called him.

When she asked why he had come, his reply was simple —

> “I just came to see you.”

That one line stirred a thousand emotions inside her.

See me? After all this time?

Gathering her strength, Janani finally said,

> “Rishi, you were the one who rejected me and hurt me first. There’s no reason for you to see me now. I’m engaged to Ajith. Please don’t contact me again.”

Rishi quietly agreed.

He said he would continue his life, and she should continue hers.

The chapter closed — or so she thought.

That night, Janani told everything to Ajith.

Her voice shook, her heart heavy with confusion.

Ajith listened silently, not with anger, but with calm understanding.

After a moment, he said softly,

> “Janani, you did the right thing. Sometimes people come back not because they love us, but because they can’t accept that we’ve grown beyond them.”

Those words felt like a warm blanket to her restless mind.

His presence grounded her — like peace after a storm.

But peace didn’t stay for long.

Soon, Leela and Ram began creating fake accounts.

They sent messages, spread negativity, and watched her reactions like a game.

Each notification made Janani anxious.

It felt like her past was chasing her again.

> “What do they get by doing this?” she whispered one night.

“What’s the point of hurting someone who has already moved on?”

The constant intrusion drained her emotionally.

She began losing sleep, overthinking every message, every silence.

Psychologically, Janani was slipping into exhaustion.

Her mind showed signs of Vata–Pitta imbalance — restlessness, guilt, and emotional fatigue.

Rishi, driven by regret and ego, acted from a Pitta imbalance — seeking validation, not closure.

Leela’s jealousy came from Pitta–Rajas dominance, feeding her need for control.

Ram, lost in immaturity, reflected Vata–Rajas restlessness, thriving on drama.

And then there was Ajith — the calm amidst all chaos.

His Kapha nature brought stability and quiet strength.

He became her anchor when everything else felt like a storm.

---

This moment was more than just a test of love.

It revealed how the mind works under pain, ego, and jealousy.

It showed Janani that real peace doesn’t come from others changing —

it comes from within.

She learned to protect her boundaries, value her peace, and remind herself —

not every ghost from the past deserves an answer

✨ Reflection:

Peace begins not when the world stops testing us, but when we stop giving power to what disturbs our heart.
